Computer Ethics
Personally, the important commandment from my point of view is that you should not snoop on other people's files: reading other people's emails is as bad as opening and reading theirs: this is a violation of their privacy. Obtaining other people's non-public files should be judged in the same way as breaking into their rooms and stealing their documents. This is at the level of individuals and at the level of companies, the privacy of their data is one of the most important things for them, and knowing the confidentiality of their data and its leakage may harm them and cause a lot of losses. In conclusion, if you do not want someone to break into your privacy, do not invade anyone’s privacy.
Since I want to major in cyber security, I have done extensive research into the many subfields within this broad field. Among the many noble aims I found, one of the most important is the protection of personal information held by people, businesses, and governments. And I believe this is where a research project's title and the commandment converge.
